Party Secretary and Vice Dean: Yu Qijun

Party Secretary and Vice Dean Yu Qijun was born in Suizhou, Hubei province. He is a Chinese Communist Party member, MA degree holder and associate professor. Before coming to the School of Foreign Languages, he had worked in the Office of the President of Zhongnan University of Finance and Economics, the Party Committee Office and the Office of the President of ZUEL, the People’s Government of Xishui County, the School of Journalism and Culture Communication of ZUEL, and the School of Business Administration of ZUEL, and served as the Secretary of the Office of the President, Deputy Section Chief, Section Chief, Vice County Governor and School Deputy Party Secretary, etc. He joined the School of Foreign Languages of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL) as the Party Secretary and Vice Dean on October 17, 2013. Party Secretary and Vice Dean Yu is highly experienced in secretarial work, party and administration work in university, public administration in the government and ideological and political work for students. He has published over 60 articles in Chinese key journals and international academic conference journals, including Xinhua Digest, On Economic Problems, Jianghan Tribune, Journal of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Fiscal Supervision and China University Students Career Guide. He has authored or edited 5 treatises and textbooks, and presided over orparticipated in 7 provincial projects on humanities and social sciences, ideological and political theory research and teaching studies. He has been bestowed the honorary titles of Top Ten County Deputy Governor/Deputy Mayor in Charge of Scientific and Technical Work in Hubei Province and Outstanding Worker in Ideological and Political Theory Education in Hubei Province, and has been cited by Hubei Provincial Party Committee, Hubei Provincial Government, Hubei Provincial Higher Education Affairs Committee and Hubei Provincial Department of Education.
